Deauville and Trouville-sur-Mer - these two beauties along the Côte Fleurie are only separated by the small River Touques. On the right bank, Trouville is a town with two sides. On the one hand, you can still find remnants of its past as an upmarket seaside resort, including the Promenade des Planches, the gorgeous seaside villas, the century-old casino and the superb fine sand beach spread over 1200 m. On the other hand, Trouville is proud of its fishing port where the trawlers moor at the foot of the fish market, an icon of the town. Thanks to its fishing community, Trouville is a top culinary destination. Its 27 trawlers provide a dozen or so fishmongers in the fish market and around sixty restaurants in the town with fresh produce from the sea including mackerel, sole, prawns, scallops and whelk.
When you stay at our 3-star hotel in Honfleur, you’re just 15 km from Trouville where you can taste the seafood from the famous brasseries in the town centre and wander along the narrow streets lined with fishermen’s houses. There are just over 2 km worth of cul-de-sacs and passageways. These short, twisting lanes form a type of maze that will transport you on a wonderful trip through the ages.
